March 8-10, 2018 - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
We need your story.
The planning committee for Mennonite Health Assembly is looking for stories for the next Assembly, to be held March 8-10, 2018, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
The theme of the Assembly is Celebrating Resilience. Through stories, discussions and learning labs, we'll be inspired by the resilience found among us.
You have a story. Share it!
Everyone has a story to share. When has your organization persevered through personal or professional tragedy or disappointment? When have you successfully negotiated on the behalf of others, rearranged power, taken a risk, or grown through failure?
Use these experiences to inspire others. Email a brief audio clip or a short-written description by July 31, 2017 to email@example.com. Selected storytellers will give a presentation during a general session at Assembly.
Feel nervous? Don't worry, a speaking coach will be provided so that you can tell your story in a succinct and compelling style.
Learning Lab Proposals
Proposals are also being sought for 75-minute sessions called Learning Labs. Draw on your experience to offer practical tools and strategies for timely topics of governance, workforce engagement, fundraising, spiritual/emotional care and other leadership issues. Submit a proposal to Emily@mhsonline.org by July 31, 2017. Decisions will be made in September.
