For Board Members - “Values-based Executive Appraisal and Compensation”

Learn how leaders of faith-based organizations can turn to their core values to shape their approach to compensation and how it is linked with appraisal. This session will offer thought-provoking input as well as opportunities to hear from others about how their boards approach these questions.
John Eby, Ph.D., board chair of Landis Communities and retired professor of Sociology at Messiah College will present ideas and questions for boards to consider in approaching executive appraisal and compensation from an Anabaptist values perspective.
Following Dr. Eby’s presentation, participants will engage specific topics such as “who does what” in conducting an executive appraisal, strategies and benchmarking for executive compensation and employment contracts.
For Chaplains - “Pastoral Formation, Competence and Reflection”
